PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE (“TERMS”) CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE SERVICES OF FRIEND’S PLUMBING, INC. By scheduling plumbing services, visiting our website, or communicating with us (including via SMS), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. ABOUT FRIEND’S PLUMBING

Friend’s Plumbing, Inc. is a licensed, bonded, and insured plumbing company that has served the Tampa Bay area since 1979. We are a family-owned business serving residential and commercial customers throughout Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Pasco Counties, Florida. Our licensed plumbers provide services including but not limited to drain cleaning, water heater repair and installation, sewer repair and replacement, leak detection, faucet repair, garbage disposal service, video drain inspection, water softener and filtration, repipe, redrain, epoxy coating, and 24/7 emergency plumbing services.

2. SERVICES

2.1 Scope of Services

Friend’s Plumbing provides residential and commercial plumbing services as described on our website and as agreed upon in your service estimate or service agreement. All work is performed by licensed plumbing technicians in accordance with Florida state plumbing codes.

2.2 Estimates and Pricing

Service estimates are provided prior to work commencing where practicable. Final pricing may vary from initial estimates due to unforeseen conditions discovered during service (e.g., hidden damage, code-required upgrades, additional materials). We will communicate any significant pricing changes before performing additional work. We accept major credit cards, checks, and other payment methods as displayed at the time of service.

2.3 24/7 Emergency Services

Emergency plumbing services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Emergency service rates may differ from standard service rates and will be disclosed prior to dispatch where possible.

2.4 Service Agreements

Customers may enter into a plumbing service maintenance agreement for routine inspection and preventive maintenance of plumbing systems. Service agreement terms, duration, pricing, and cancellation policies are set forth in the applicable service agreement document, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

3. APPOINTMENTS AND SCHEDULING

Appointment windows are provided as estimates. While we strive to arrive within the scheduled window, delays may occur due to prior job complexity, traffic, or emergency calls. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant delays. Cancellations or reschedules requested less than two (2) hours before a scheduled appointment may be subject to a service call fee.

4. SMS COMMUNICATIONS — A2P COMPLIANCE

4.1 Consent to Receive SMS

Message frequency varies based on your scheduled services and communications preferences. You may receive multiple messages per service request (e.g., booking confirmation, day-before reminder, technician dispatch, post-service follow-up).

4.3 Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply to SMS messages sent to and received from Friend’s Plumbing. You are responsible for any charges imposed by your wireless carrier. Friend’s Plumbing is not responsible for any such carrier charges.

4.4 How to Opt Out (STOP)

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time. To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any text message sent by Friend’s Plumbing. You will receive a one-time confirmation message and will then be removed from our messaging list. You may re-subscribe at any time by texting START or by contacting us directly.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY FLORIDA LAW, FRIEND’S PLUMBING’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR OUR SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or property damage caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees or subcontractors while performing plumbing services.

7. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Friend’s Plumbing, Inc., its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our services, or your violation of any applicable law.

8. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to mediation in Pinellas County, Florida before initiating any legal action. Nothing herein prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief.

9. FLORIDA-SPECIFIC PROVISIONS

• Friend’s Plumbing is licensed under Florida Statutes Chapter 489 as a licensed plumbing contractor.
• We are fully bonded and insured as required by Florida law.
• All plumbing work is performed in compliance with the Florida Plumbing Code.
• Customers have rights under Florida’s consumer protection laws including Florida Statute Chapter 501.
• Water quality and Florida’s hard water conditions specific to the Tampa Bay area (high mineral content) may affect plumbing systems and is considered in our service recommendations.

10. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our services after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

11. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

12. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any applicable service agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Friend’s Plumbing with respect to the subject matter herein and supersede all prior communications and agreements.
